Aaron Katz, President  and CEO -

As a strategy development and organizational improvement consultant, working with the world's leading multinational organizations, including GE Capital, BF Goodrich Aerospace, Emerson Electric Company, and Eaton Corporation, Mr. Katz is able to bring perspective from many different industries to key issues such as distribution channel management, product sourcing, brand management, and sales structure.
Having worked for 7 years as an executive at Choice Hotels, International - franchisor of leading consumer brands such as Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion Hotels, amongst others Aaron is an expert in the hotel franchise business, in several key areas including internet distribution channel performance, franchise impact, franchise quality assurance and compliance, and brand management.
Adam Gollance, CFO of Modus Hotels Management, Washington, DC

Adam Gollance, CFO -

Our centralized finance and accounting discipline is led by our Chief Financial Officer, Adam Gollance, who comes to Modus Hotels from Cushman & Wakefield and most recently, Marriott International as Vice President of International Finance. While at Marriott, Adam had a broad range of responsibilities including leading hotel profit optimization efforts for all of Marriott's international properties, asset managing Marriott's owned hotels and numerous repositioning projects to help drive hotel profitability.
Adam and his team have a broad array of tax, market valuation, accounting and controls experience. Whether you require accounting for a single property or more complex financial and tax support for a larger portfolio, we have a diverse team of experts ready to meet your needs.

Janne Clare, Vice President of Operations -

Janne recently joined Modus after 10 years as Vice President of West Coast Operations at Viceroy Hotel Group based in Los Angeles.  At Viceroy, Janne was responsible for hotel operations including development of service standards, brand standards, hiring and development of key leaders, food and beverage concepts and working closely with human resource, financial and marketing divisions to develop Viceroy into a luxury brand.  Janne was also responsible for training and was instrumental in several openings including Viceroy Miami, Viceroy Snowmass, Viceroy Anguilla and L'Ermitage Beverly Hills.  Prior to Viceroy, Janne spent 15 years at Starwood Hotels, specifically with the Westin brand as a General Manager and a key executive in training, brand standards and property transitions.

Janne brings her vast experience in the lifestyle and luxury hotel segments to Modus, as well as service and brand standards that enable every guest experience to be truly memorable.

Maryalice Giroux, Director of Organizational Development at Hotel Management Company - Washington, DC

Maryalice Giroux, Vice President of Organizational Development -

From event manager to director of sales to general manager, Ms. Giroux's firsthand knowledge of the unique needs of the industry allows her to expertly evaluate talent, customize the right training and ensure we have the right people on our properties. Currently pursuing a master's degree in Organizational Leadership, Ms. Giroux and her organization are committed to developing resourceful associates by providing a stable and safe work environment with equal opportunity for learning and personal growth. When not coaching, encouraging or otherwise supporting the team, Maryalice can be found performing in local chorales and community theatres.
Robert Santucci, Director Engineering of Hotel Management Company - Washington, DC

Robert Santucci, Director Engineering -

Mr. Santucci directs the preventative maintenance of all properties and supervises all renovation projects, developing budgets and comprehensive time lines that ensure timely completion of each project. During his 36-year career, Mr. Santucci has served as Chief HVAC Engineer at the Washington Hilton Hotel and Lead Engineer with Miller Management, where he oversaw the operations of a 375,000 square foot office building and shopping mall.
Later, he served as Director of Engineering at two Marriott Hotels and the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Washington, D.C. Prior to his appointment as the Director of Engineering for Modus Hotels, he was the Operations Manager\Tenant Coordinator at the historic Old Post responsible for all departments, special events and tenant construction.
